Weddings
First Christian Church is glad to open up its facilities for weddings of both members and non-members. Contact the church secretary to check on availibility, to arrange a time to look at church facilities or to ask any questions not covered on this page. You can do so by phone at 816-233-2556 during the hours of 9 AM–12 Noon or 1-4 PM Monday through Friday.Â
Costs:  There is no cost to church members for the use of church facilities. Costs for non-members are as follows:

$300–Reservation fee/Damage deposit (refundable following event according to guidelines provided below)

$850–Sanctuary Wedding (Seats 500)Includes:
Organist/Pianist (deduct $125 for guest organist/pianist)
Sound System Operator
Custodian (4 hours on wedding date & 2 hours on rehearsal date; $25 per additional
hour)
Two changing/prep. Rooms -
$500–Chilton Chapel Wedding (Seats 50); includes same items as Sanctuary Wedding

$125–Minister (separate arrangements should be made with guest minister)

$25/session–Pre-Marital Counseling (suggested but not required)
